Directorate of Agricultural Research, Lumbini Province, Khajura, Banke is an important agency under the Nepal Agricultural Research Council for conducting agricultural research and studies in Lumbini Province. The Directorate works for the development of the overall agricultural sector of this province through the development and expansion of agricultural technology.

Through timely agricultural research and development, the adoption of agricultural systems based on high knowledge and technology will make it easier for the farmers, as well as contribute to improving the livelihood and living standards of the people of Lumbini Province by increasing the production and productivity of the agricultural sector.
